Due to demand and expanding our opening times we are looking for new team members to join the Farmhouse team.

Currently we have the following positions available

Pot wash/kitchen assistant - Must be available Tuesdays (6-10pm) Saturdays (5-10pm) Sundays (12-4pm)
Applicant must be 16+ due to insurances and kitchen environment

Sous chef -
We are looking for a competent and experienced Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at The Old Farmhouse, Nailsea
Working alongside the Head Chef, you will work with the kitchen team to produce traditional, homemade pub food in a timely manner and to a high quality. You will also work with the Head Chef to produce a range of specials that we can offer to our customers, as well as come up with new promotions for the year. You should be able to lead the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef, and should have knowledge of ordering, GP calculation, EHO management of the kitchen as well as COSHH.
The ideal candidate should have at least a year's experience in a similar role elsewhere, and should have experience catering for volume as we are a busy, fast paced pub! Sundays are our busiest days for our locally famous carvery and so the ideal candidate will have availability on a Sunday. Shifts will be spread over 5 days and will include split shifts, totalling around 45hrs a week. Free parking in the onsite carpark is provided.

Kitchen assistant -
We are looking for a kitchen assistant to join our dedicated team. You'll be helping prepare and serve meals.
Keep all areas of the kitchen clean, in accordance with work schedules.
Help the Cook in the food preparation, serving, washing up and storing crockery and utensils appropriately.
Dispose of all waste food hygienically.
Understand and adhere to Control of Substances Hazardous to Health regulations in accordance with the Health &Safety Manual.
Rate of pay from £10ph must be willing to work a mix of days, evenings and weekends. 20-35 hours available
